MVIS US Business Development Companies Index

The modified market cap-weighted index tracks the performance of the largest and most liquid companies which are treated as Business Development Companies (BDC) and are incorporated in the United States. BDCs must be organised under the law of, and have its principal place of business in the United States, be registered with the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) and have elected to be regulated as a BDC under the Investment Company Act of 1940. The MVIS US Business Development Companies Index (MVBIZD) has been licensed to underlie financial products with currently USD 233.67 million in assets under management.

Country and Sector Weightings

MVIS Sector Indices are pure-play sector indices. Companies must generate at least 50% of their revenues in the target sector to be eligible for index inclusion. Country and Sector weightings are based on the weightings of all index components in a certain country or sector.
